MUSGRAVE CROWNS ‘STORE OF THE YEAR’ WINNERS

MACE stores have been commended for excellence at the annual Musgrave Northern Ireland ‘Store of the Year’ awards.

The Musgrave awards ceremony celebrates and recognises the achievements, hard work and dedication of its retail partners across the three brands – Mace, SuperValu and Centra.

Nugent’s Mount Alverno in Belfast celebrated when it won the Mace large format Store of the Year, rewarded for its commitment to developing its team and technology to ensure excellent customer experiences.

In the small format category, Gracey’s Mace Gasworks in Belfast scooped the title not least for its dedicated team’s work ethic and pride in the store, but also for its reputation for quality and consistency.

The ceremony also saw McDonald’s Mace Victoria Street in Lurgan win the Mace Fundraising Store of the Year for its support of Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke after raising a fantastic £3,767 during 2025. As well as regular bucket collections, the store team took part in a hugely successful static cycle. This has also enabled the store to reach an incredible milestone of raising £20,000 for the charity since the partnership began in 2016.

In the Excellence in Social Media category, McFarland’s Mace in Newmills clinched the title.

The awards ceremony was hosted by radio presenter and DJ Pete Snodden on Friday 17th April night in The Slieve Donard Hotel. Finalists are selected following several rigorous rounds of performance and standards audits, with the highest accolade being ‘Store of the Year’.
